Hong Kong’s essence:  spiritual smoke

HongKong is a fantastic place.  There are many reasons for that, in particular the view on the bay and the city skyline under the changing skies, the city vibrance and also this very special, British-flavored, cultural bridge between the West and China.

If you’re a standard westerner (which I am), used to churches, temples, synagogs and mosques, when you enter in what looks as a modest building as seen from the street outside, you wouldn’t expect to discover such a scene.

Is it spiritual?  Transcendental?  Does the incense help to reach the skies?  Don’t know.
