MELBOURNE SESSIONS

Most of what I have learned in photography workshops, I’m owing to Peter Coulson, the famous Australian photographer.  From Brussels to Paris, London, New York and of course Melbourne, I’ve heard him teaching the basic and less basic things in photography and models.  I’ve also heard his thoughts about this business – no complacency – , and witnessed his absolute passion for, literally, lighting up models.

And there is his studio, the Koukei Photography studio in Melbourne’s suburb, slightly messy, full of light and space, which I like very much, and where you almost feel at home.

Melbourne may be far away, but it’s worth the trip.
